IPL Phototherapy for Summer Sun Damage

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology uses a broad spectrum of light to delicately target and reduce melanin, excess pigment in the skin. This is definitely one of the best treatments for post-summer skin.

Skin’s pigment is gently heated by short pulses of light energy from the IPL hand piece. The temperature in these highly-concentrated areas of melanin or vascular pigment is raised, shattering the cells that contain excess pigment. The body then begins its natural process of repairing the injured cells, reducing the pigment, and replacing this area with new, younger skin cells.*

Skin conditions treated with IPL Phototherapy include:

  • Age Spots
  • Birthmarks
  • Brown Spots
  • Freckles
  • Pigmented Lesions
  • Sun Damage
  • Sun Spots

During your IPL consultation, you will meet with one of the medical staff who is certified and specializes in IPL Treatments. She will discuss any concerns and customize a treatment plan for you.

Skin Resurfacing with Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, and Laser

After the summer you may be left with more sun-damaged skin, age-spots, and wrinkles. In addition, you may have skin scarred by acne, accidents or previous surgery can benefit from skin resurfacing. There are three major treatment methods available for skin resurfacing.

Chemical peels, ViPeels, uses chemical reactive solutions to remove the undesirable layer of skin. A chemical peel sounds like a harsh treatment, but in reality it can greatly vary from gentle to strong depending on the type of solution used for your skin’s needs. For all skin types!!

Dermasweep uses a rotating brush on your skin, removing the uneven outer layer of the skin, unclogging your pores, and improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles through collagen stimulation. After the treatment is completed, we infuse the skin with a Vitamin C, maybe a Hyaluronic acid for the dewy fresh look, or even for hyperpigmentation.

Fractora, What Is All The Fuss About?

Fractora: RF – Radio Frequency

Individuals who are looking for a non-invasive and natural looking approach to skin tone, texture irregularities and lifting can benefit from Fractora™ Fractional. Fractora™ Fractional can be used in areas that demonstrate fine or deep wrinkles, scars or discolored red and brown skin tone. The most common areas of treatment are the face and neck.

Our Neck/Jowl Tightening Treatment, aka the “Non Surgical Face and Neck Lift” will leave your neck and jawline tighter, more chiseled, and youthful. Skip the scalpel, love the RF (Radio Frequency) treatment!

During your consultation, we evaluate your face as a whole to create a customized experience unique to your anatomical needs and personal cosmetic goals. All of our treatments are tailored around acceptable expectations and meaningful improvements without complications. We sometimes combine multiple therapies to obtain optimal results.

Skin resurfacing can minimize the appearance of:

  • Acne and trauma scars
  • Blackheads and whiteheads
  • Dull skin
  • Enlarged pores and blemishes
  • Fine lines & wrinkles
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Oily skin
